As part of the community programme at Phoenix Art Space, I ran free, drop in workshops for bookbinding and Turkish paper marbling. These creative sessions are intended to provide the 50+ community of Phoenix Estate, Tarner and Hanover and Elm Grove areas with creative and social opportunities as a way of combating social isolation and loneliness.
This project is part of an ongoing partnership between Phoenix Art Space and Phoenix Food Shop and is supported by the Brighton & Hove City Council Communities Fund: Collaboration.
