For the previous two years I have been working with Creative Future, a writing charity in Brighton to plan and deliver creative wellbeing workshops to women at The Gateways Women's Centre as part of OFF THE FENCE Trust in Portslade. These workshops focused on art, nature and wellbeing where particpants had the opportunity to learn both traditional and digital photographic skills and techniques alongside being immersed in nature and shadow watching.
The first series of eight workshops took place in winter 2021 and the second series of eight workshops took place in the summer of 2022. Due to the success of these workshops, Creative Future and I are currently working on funding bids to provide further free workshops to local communities.
